Sad news about Lindsey dog
Lindsey passed away last Sunday. We knew she had terminal cancer, but since she didn't show any signs of slowing down until the very end it came as quite a shock. I am so glad that I got to spend some time with her! I'll miss the quirky little girl.

The Last Battle

If it should be that I grow frail and weak, and pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done, for this -- the last battle -- can't be won.

It can be so difficult to decide when the right time has come to let a pet go.

It was a blessing that Lindsey died so suddenly without slowing down at all before. She went peacefully on her own. Wouldn't it be nice if it could always be like that?
