Academy Recordings first release is a compilation of newly recorded tracks and previously unreleased archive recordings from Ivor Novello Award winners Robin Gibb, Peter Gabriel, Chrissie Hynde, David Arnold, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies and Iain Archer.

I love Robin and whatever he sings, but how can I recieve any of his works here in Iran , which everything is nearly upside down ? There are of course some tape shops I know but they are not provided with the latest works of any artist . Does any one knows any solution ?

I'm almost a new member of the group . Sorry it took me so long to post a message . I was not quite sure to whom should my messages be posted . By the way , I wold like to thank you and other directors of the group ( if there are any ) , and Mr. Robin Gibb , in particular , for the chance you have provided , so the fans would be informed of the latest news and art works of their favorit singer , though I belive he should be called a perfect artist and not only a singer .

Alan Freeman days is great, but I have one question-- I had listened to the song posted on this site and it seems different from the one I just downloaded. Am I remembering correctly, or was the version on this site (or possibly My space) quite a bit different? I seem to recall a sampling of a piece of music intertwined throughout the song that is not on the Amazon version, which is more straight pop. Since the song is no longer posted in the members' section, and the My Space one is just a clip, I can't be sure. Anyone??

The one on youtube should be the proper version if they were different, try and compare.

Thanks for the reply Luke-- I did listen to the one on "You Tube" and that sounds like the download from Amazon, which I assume is the version chosen to be released as a single. Maybe the version originally on this site was an earlier one??? Anyone else notice a difference or am I confusing it with another song? :?
