Hi Sparki

Your story bring me back 9 years ago. The same as Chrystal my daughter was also almost 6 months pregnant before we knew. :oOther circumstances with the boyfriend but she was on her own too frown It was not show either , for nobody of us, but it is a kind of nature, so i think, because as soon we knew it my daughters belly went bigger and bigger soon. it was alsoa a boy, and as much we were in " panic" as you are right now, but soon we could not imagine our live without our great grandson Nathan laugh Take a look at this kid laugh

Resting during a footballgame laugh He is great footballplayer, not a Beegeesfan, but he is a very great joy and happiness in our family so i hope this is a comfort for you and Chrystal wink one day you will be proud and your grandson as we are wink And if you want to talk, you know where to find me !

Big Hugs, Ninneke

Dear Sparki and Crystal,
I think of you too. I wish you a lot of strength to deal with this situation. I hope your little boy will be healthy because this is the most important thing right now. Please don't think about what went wrong or how many problems might be. THINK POSITIVE!!! Every problem has a solution but sometimes it will take a while to find them. I hope you'll have enough energy to stand all that. God bless you.

Ines

P.S.: Wow, Ninneke. I knew Nathan is a cutie laugh . I love him. Give him a huge hug!!!

This prayer request doesn't affect me directly, but I know there's alot of animal lovers out there that will share my horror and upset about this request... Apparently someone on one of the top 3 floors of my building (5th-7th floor) had thrown a young cat/kitten over the balcony. The police had been called as well as the SPCA. The poor thing had a few broken bones etc. I'm not sure sure exactly WHO this turd was that did the throwing (good thing as I'd have strung the person up and then thrown him/her over the balcony!). This person wasn't drunk or strung up on drugs either... Anyway, I was hoping that some prayers could go out for this cat and a good home with lots of love could be found.

Dearest friends!!

First of all, thank you Sparki for moving this prayer jar here. I would have posted here about Jeannie if it had been here (or if I saw it!! LOL).

First of all, Jeannie is doing very well. She and Paul took a walk the other night. She can't drive for 3 weeks and is, of course, quite sore but is coming along very well. She will be back here before long. I don't think she can sit too long at one time....thanks for the prayers...

Sparki, I am sure this little guy of Crystal's will bring you much joy and happiness. I know it seems hard but with God in charge, nothing can go wrong...a blessing in disguise...

Ninneke, I WILL write soon. I can't begin to tell you what problems I am having. Just all of you please put me in your prayers as well. Basically I am in real financial problems and am waiting for them to take my car. I am filing with my lawyer in probably late September. I have just enough to eat and keep my 4 cats in litter and food but am making it thanks to a couple of real angels in my life. Hopefully by the end of the year I will be OK. My concern is losing my transportation as I am not near much of anything in walking distance...So far so good, I still have the car (can't really call it mine)...anyway this last year and a half has been pure hell and I am so tired of it all....at least my health is good....

So many of you I owe e-mails to, Ninneke, Rafael, Lisa (where are you??) and I miss the general posting, but it won't be long. I will leave things in God's hands and he will get me through this. It is just a lesson I should have learned when I was a lot younger...I know now I can't live a Mercedes Benz life on a Ford income LOL  Love you all, Andy

i got to hear his heartbeat-everything is looking good, shes getting bigger it seems everyday!we are slowly getting the things he will need,oh and his name is Jadon Jack, yes i do believe he is a miracle baby, (just like connor)she will have much to deal with, but maybe its what she needs, for once in her life she can focus on someone besides herself.shes young but it does happen, my grandmother was only 16 when she had my mother, and my fathers mother wasnt much older, so i guess i wouldnt be here if they didnt...thank you so much,i always feel better when i read your posts!
now as for the other happenings, Nathan is adorable!thanks for sharing ninneke,
bee gees babe, the person or i should say monster that harmed that precious kitten needs a beating, i hope they find out who it was.
andy-hang in there, ive been there many many times, but the key is taking it day by day, its frustrating i know. before i got pregnant with connor, when i had lost my baby girl and a month later my husband left(i saw him long enough to have connor)it was right around thanksgiving and christmas,he wouldnt work, i couldnt because i was recovering, we survived on spam for a month, then he left right before christmas, i was alone with my two girls, hungry and nothing for christmas. if it wasnt for my work i dont know what wouldve happened. they got together and collected for us, then someone-i still dont know who, left a box of groceries at my doorstep, a christmas dinner,i later got pregnant with my son, had to quit my job because of the stress and i had no way to get to work.i was a welfare mom, i had connor, and 6 months later started working again, and though theres been many obstacles, ive come along way.i can now drive a car,i have a car-the payments are killing me but i am doing it. i dont have much but what ive done ive done it on my own.things will work out for you too-just a word of advice, take any kind of help you can get.
oh and im glad jeannie is on the mend, please send her my love!

It's amazing how strong we are without realizing it! It isn't until we look back on things that we actually do though... It's all the crud that gets dished out that makes us this way. I'm so glad that we have each other to have as support! smile

i cant say ive been successful as say robin, but then, do we really determine success by money?i dont have much, but what i got i have worked very hard at, and i succeeded, although i always feel like theres more out there for me, i just havent figured out what it is, too much of a dreamer i suppose, and not enough sense to see them thru.there is a lesson here somewhere i think.anyway yes i am as all of you, very grateful for the wonderful friends i have here,it just amazes me, we are all from different parts of the world, but share many of the same dreams and experiences, and all brought together because of this forum.and that is why i brought the prayer jar back, its one place we can all share our darkest moments as well as the brightest whiile still maintaining our obsession(ok i admit it!) of our beloved robin

I've just had a bit of an update about that kitten. Apparently he was new to the owner on the 7th floor. She had an apt sized air conditioner in her bedroom window and there was a gap where the kitten squeezed through. The kitten had gotten up on the ledge and fslipped/fell to the apt below (6th floor). The guy living in the 6th floor was the --------------- that took the kitten and hurled it over the balcony-with loads of witnesses below. The owner on the 7th floor is very upset-she didn't realize that the kitten had managed to get onto the balcony and to hear what had happened to the kitten. Don't know if the kitten has survived the injuries yet. And I don't know if the owner will charge this guy for animal abuse/cruelty. If she doesn't, I'm positive the SPCA will. Here in Ontario the animal cruelty laws have been stiffened and there's no way the SPCA will let ANYONE get away with harming any animal.

Wow, looks like a lot of things have happened lately.

Congratulations on becoming a grandmother Sparki! Crystal and Jadon are very lucky to have you! I will keep my fingers crossed that everything goes well! Keep us posted!

Andy, I hope things will turn around for you. Life can be so difficult! Hang in there. And my fingers are crossed that you will at least be able to keep the car.

Poor little kitten! I hope it will be okay, and that the guy will get what's coming to him. People like that make me so mad!

Jeannie, how are you recovering from your surgery? I hope you are feeling better.

I think I am probably missing a lot of people. Good luck and best wishes to all of you!

Sparki, Ninneke and everyone who has had problems, you are always on my mind and in my prayers. Will soon be logging on and meeting the new friends out there....

Just heard from my father that my mother is in the hospital. She wasn't feeling good throughout the night. But she went to church anywat this morning. By the time the service was over and they went down to coffee hour she was light headed and almost fainted. My father was going to bring her to the hospital. He needed to stop for gas. When he did my mother started to get disoriented. So he brought her to the firestation. And they brought her to the hospital. So far they have said that her blood pressure is high and her heart is jumping all over. They are keeping her overnight for tests in the morning.
