Make a wish!

As this is the time for wishes, let's imagine Robin would grant each of us a special wish for something to be put on his site. What would you wish for?  To begin with, I would like to get the BBC Radio programme "A Year In The Life", broadcast on Christmas Day 2005, where Robin talked about special events, personal and worldwide, of the year 1967.  I listened to it online and managed to download it from Listen Again later, but lost it with everything else when my harddrive died in the hot summer of 2006.  I would so love to hear it again. Well, which wish do you have?

Oh, Avalanche, your wish is very special ! My wish would be similar, only going back further  . With Robin's avid interest in history, I wish he could take us along for the occasional jaunt into the past. In a broadcast from his most recent tour, Robin spoke of being invited to a site in order for him to observe some structural remains from the Great London Fire . Oh, for us to join him, occasionally, as he explores the past. !

Bethany that would surely be interesting and appreciated, but rather fits into Ann's Website update topic. I indeed meant a very special wish for something concrete that already exists, but is hard or impossible to get, e.g. a videoclip, interview, unreleased song etc. How about that?

this is excellent topic, Gabriele. you will probably say,that it fits to Ann's topic Website update, but i truly wish that Robin would be here more time to chat with us via PMs and directly on the forum. this would be great  . although i'm afraid, that he hasn't so much time being here  . God Know, if Robin will congratulate us Merry Christmas as the year before, when we found his video on youtube  ? (i plan to start new topic to congratulate Merry Christmas to him and Dwina, of course ) Martina

you will probably say,that it fits to Ann's topic Website update, Exactly, Martina, and apart from that? A special item to wish for? By the way, you find Robin's Christmas greetings of last year on the site too. No need to go as far as Youtube.

Okay, I am wishing for whatever Robin can find when he is digging through his unreleased vautlts and puts it on his website for Christmas, once found .

One wish I have is for a physical address to mail notes or cards to Robin...somehow believing that he will actually receive, read, and get to understand how a complete stranger (although not strange[insert smiley face])can find all she learns about him to be beautiful.
I sometimes write on the forum as if writing directly to Robin...perhaps he does "sneak" into the forum annonymously?

i agree with you, Janna, i would love having Robin's address,to congratulate him on his birthday and then to wish him Merry Christmas.but, i'm not sure, if he has time to read christmas card, sent by so many his fans.... no he isn't on forum anonymously, he has profile here, but he wasn't here often, he wrote only two messages to us..... My second wish is for a video post of Robin singing directly to his fans, as if we are the only audience and he is singing for US. The videos I've seen usually jump around at different angles and such, and I would love to see him singing as if to me (us) for the duration of the song. The song could be his choice, and would mean a lot! I likely will never have the opportunity to actually see/meet Robin, so this is one way to fulfill a dream. Just imagine ....

Have you now all let off your general wishes? Then I may be allowed to go on with my special ones ... far from being already at the bottom of my list. Quite some time ago I discovered this photo of Robin in 1969 with the information that it was taken in Nußdorf, Austria at the filming for Saved By The Bell.  I never found this video anywhere and would love to see in on the site. wow, Gabriele, I love this picture, thanks for sharing!!! Martina

Well, my general wish covers some territory , Gabriele! And, easily expanded to include all of 2011  , and not so easily dismissed . Lovely picture , Gabriele . I am also wishing, quite surely, along with everyone else, that all of your wishes come true  . I am in need of some New Year's resolutions , they are always so hard to follow  .
