I just noticed the news about Robins new CD "My favourite Christmas Carols". Is it really going to be released here in U.S. on November 21? WOW!!!!!! Can't wait to hear his voice again!!! Did anyone hear the new single from this cd? Why is it that the European verson has 4 bonus tracks and the US version no? That's not fair!!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it!! I was going to buy Barry Manilow's new cd, but I'll get that for my birthday instead.

I think you are talking about the CD that was released in 2006 (or did I miss something? :?: )
I ordered mine from oversees (amazon.de) to get the bonus tracks. For some reason, most bonus tracks on the CDs are lacking in the US versions. I agree that it seems a little unfair! :?

So do you like the cd? I'll see if Amazon.com sells it at a good price. I really want a couple of Bee Gees cd's right now. I have so many Christmas cd's of other artists, so I'll think about it.

I love Robin's voice and I love Christmas! It's beautiful!

Its a proper christmas album with proper christmas songs, its brilliant, have a buy, definately worth it!

I would definitely agree to buy the European version as the bonus tracks are well worth it--hearing the great versions of Mother of Love and Ellan Vannin (perhaps the best song he's ever done in all time!!) as well as the weird "Christmas Eve & Halloween" make it a real treat and well worth a little extra.

Numerous people for whom I have played the music can't believe how wonderfully he handles the old English carols and how haunting some of them really are, especially In the Deep Midwinter, which is my fave.

But there's this German CD version but in some online shops or even at Ebay, then they are partly quite favorable.

In "Love Songs" in England was also a bonus title more important than in Germany.

I also find it unfair that I am the new "Odessa" Deluxe Edition + T-shirt from Germany can not acquire.

I have Robin's Christmas CD. And of course I was palying it over the holiday.
My 4 year old granddaughter was going around singing Robin's version of Noel!

I've got the DVD on my wishlist. Does he perform the extra tracks on them? The regular album is avalible for download stateside, need to look for the extras on Amazon.
