Yesterday I could only choose between three different credit cards. Today I got a list of about a dozen of options, including Paypal, EC card, and even some German banks. That's quite a progress.

I ordered the tourbook. ... Can I finally make up for the fatal mistake I made four years ago on 18 Sept in Bonn ... and even signed by Robin? 8-)

I have been told that the PayPal functions but that the minimum sum for an order to be able to use PayPal is 5GBP. If the order is below that amount the PAyPal button would not be visible.

This is how I got it a minute ago ...
I logged in to my shop account and got a page with the order history, order status being sent.for.package. I clicked on the order no. and got another page with the items in my order listed. The PDF Booklet had a download here added which I clicked on. A window opened ... and after about half a minute of anxious waiting my booklet appeared. :shock:
It seems I've got it! ...

I had no trouble purchasing or downloading the tracks I wanted. Oddly enough my account had vanished when I tried to make another order a day later.
I've set up a new account and will see if this stays put before I make another order.

I had no problems downloading the songs, but not the pdf file. It has been saying that it isn't ready for download yet, and to check in a few minutes. This has been the status for the past 3 hours or so. I guess if one interprets a few minutes loosely, it could still happen At least I got the songs.

Please help me!

I have several articles yesterday evening in the shop and purchased via Visa card to pay.

Ich habe mich in mein Account eingeloggt, und dann auf meine Order Number geklickt. Die Lieder waren alle aufgelistet, und neben ihnen war ein Download button. Als ich den anklickte ging alles voll automatisch. Viel Glueck!

It took a bit of waiting (processing payment no doubt) but the PDF finally showed up and my 2nd account is still running.

I have to say I really, really enjoy listening to WAAP & TLS right now. Wing And A Prayer stands well on it's own merits apart from it's origin. To Love Somebody is a classic that is, dare I say it, nigh impossible to improve upon but in this stripped version cut down to basics it is bloody perfect.

I think I can call on some favours and have my own booklet professionally printed seeing as I work in graphics.

die möglichen Zahlungsmethoden hängen davon ab, für welchen Gesamtbetrag du einkaufst. Unter 5 GBP sind offenbar nur die drei angegebenen vorgesehen, darüber etliche mehr, z.B. auch Paypal. Vielleicht entscheidest du dich ja dafür, noch etwas zu bestellen.

I am a complete computer illiterate person and have no idea what I am doing on here when it comes to any computer lingo....
I want to try to buy things off of Robins area where it says "Shop" but I don't know what I am doing..... I'm trying to read the instructions but still do not understand.... I don't have any credit cards so I cannot place an order that way.... and I don't know how to download things either....
I desperately want to order oneof the magnet tour books... and would love to know how to get Robins new songs WAAP and TLS ....
Is there any Bee Gee fan out there who would be willing enough to maybe order the tour book for me and maybe burn these songs on a cd for me and mail the items to me when they come in and I will gladlypay for you to do this and all shipping costs? I feel like I am missing out on so much because I am so stupid about all of this.... there is so much more I have missed this way and it gets so depressing after a while....

Regarding the title, it happens. I've noticed that there are phrases/expressions that tend to pop up repeatedly in songs written by the Gibb brothers over the years and this is one time where it shows up in a title and not just in the verses. Another example is a song they did back in 1966 titled "Forever" which also was the title for a song they wrote for the Jimmy Ruffin album "Sunrise" released in 1980.

'For Whom the Bell Tolls' is a nice example where a certain phrase appears twice, first as a lyrics line (When He's Gone) and later on as a title, probably inspired by Hemingway's novel or the film version of it ... although originally (?) it's a line from a poem by John Dunne.
It seems that there are phrases that just recommend themselves as song titles, as there are a lot of songs with the same title but different melody and different lyrics written by different artists. I'm almost sure the expression 'Wing and a Prayer' has a history too.
