We were out by the Danube today afternoon, it should have been OK, just my hands were aching very much, no matter I had gloves on. I wondered how they can be so moveless in the cold. Some boys came and started to feed the birds, throwing bread towards them. Now it's colder than at that time. It exhausts me like hell. Not in Budapest, but in some places (e.g. where Szilvia lives) it reached that low temperature as well. How weird, southern areas have lower temperature and more snow! Morning sun on the frozen pond ... ... swans huddling on the ice ... ... whereas the ducks manage to keep a small space open ... ... and the dog enjoys exploring unfamiliar territories ... _________________________ Although ocean storms may cloud an April sky, I'll be there when you wake ...

There are many gulls, I only discovered some coots when we were there. In the park there were only ducks. I wondered how they can sit on ice for so long? Your morning pod is nice, also the dog!
