Our second location was The Prebendal, Thame in Oxfordshire, an amazingly beautiful 12th Century estate and home of Robin and Dwina Gibb. Robin-John Gibb (Robin and Dwina's son) also plays the part of Belisar, lord of the vampire clans, and an amazing discovery as a new face on the screen! Without doubt a highly charismatic and poised young man, RJ took in my multi-layered direction and guidance with focus and professional skill and turned Belisar into a leading BLOOD TYPE protagonist with a mesmeric and chilling charm.


We shot all the “Vampire Universe” scenes, including the stone circle and sword cane duel at The Prebendal. The wonderful support, enthusiasm and hospitality of the Gibb family, especially Dwina Murphy-Gibb and all the staff were amazing! Dwina, you're an angel!

The grounds at the Prebendal are surreal and suited to represent an alternative universe where Earth is ruled by “royal” vampire clans, and humans are slaves, owned and controlled as a convenient and docile work and food source.

Not really a movie. It is just a promotional trailer they are making for a projected TV series. The trailer is by all accounts a tool to get approval and funding to make this into a full series. Even if no one picks it up I hope we may get the chance to see the trailer in some form.

And, a fine young GENTLEMAN , he was so sweeeeet :P to us at the Tea, I even got his autograph! I'll try to do the same for you, Kirsten !

Any word from The Prebendal regarding RJ's movie :? !?!

The trailer for the forthcoming TV series has been posted on YouTube. Due to length it is divided in 2 parts. This is the first I've seen of RJ as an actor and I'm very impressed. Can't wait until the TV series comes.
The version of "Instant Love" with both Robin-John and Robin is in the 2nd part. RJ sounds a lot like Peter Gabriel vocally which makes a nice contrast to his dad's voice in the song.

Thanks for finding this, Ferdinand. RJ is indeed convincing, both as actor and singer. And these clips are really promising, regarding the tv series as well as Robin's new album. I do hope he will release it.
