I've been trying to make some empty place on my work computer and I've found something - maybe unknown for young fans.
I think it dates back to the end of seventies and I got it together with a thick Biograph.
It was a Bakelite record with Silent night sung by the brothers on one side and the following story on the other.
I tried to write it down, (wasn't so bad after all) and sent it recorded on a cassette to my Australian friend, who corrected it.

So here you are, for those who haven't heard it yet.

The Rescue of Bonnie Prince Wally

A singing ... right ... joke
The scene is 1507. The disappearance of Bonnie Prince Wally. The good king of Scotland has disappeared, and our three noble knights, Sir Barry, Sir Moby and Sir Robald had been summoned to find the good king.
Prince Wally. Where is he? Is he in the dungeon of McIagarts’ Fortress? On his hands and hung up by his toe nails?
Our three gallants are in search of Bonnie Prince Wally.
Bonnie Prince Wally, the underwater badminton champion of Zambia, the lover of many a damsel in distress. This was a mission for our three knights.
Sir Basil, Sir Maurice, and Sir Robald.
‘Well, here we are ... looks like out there in front of us is the castle and we have to get there and rescue the mighty king.’
‘Stay where you are!”
‘OK, just calm down, boys, I’ll take it!’
‘What is it you want here?’
‘We want no war with you, Sir ...’
‘You want no war? Nay, nay, nay, will you get past these walls, you evil little men!’
‘Oh, charming. See, this is the castle and this is where they are keeping the prince.’
‘Indeed, Sir Basil.’
‘Stay where you are! One step and I’ll fire hot oil on all of you!’
‘OK, he’s full of all those tricks.’ (Barry)
‘Hey, you have the Bonnie Prince Wally in your dungeons!’
‘That is right.”
‘We demand that you release him immediately or woe be tide you.’
‘Stick it up your nose!’
‘All England is talking of your tyranny and villainy. Let him go, you bounder!.’
‘All of England? ... All of England?’
‘Well, most ... you know ...’
‘I don’t care!’
‘Actually ... probably two thirds.’ (Barry)
‘Stop your jabbering! You shall not have the prince, I tell you, you shall no have Prince Wally.’
‘Give us a break. We are few but brave men. And if you do not hand over the ... you know - him, so Bonnie Prince Wally, then we’ll lop your head off.’
‘When you say him? Do you mean Prince Wally?’
‘We mean he, Prince Wally of all the Netherlands.’
‘You shall not get across these castle gates!’
‘We are going to leap across your mote and take you by the throat, you bald-headed leader!’
‘We can’t do that! I think we should just retreat behind the hills.’
‘But Sir Basil, Sir Maurice, he’s in the dungeon. Held up by his toe nails. We must get Bonnie Prince Wally.’
‘I am going to count to five and if you don’t try to come in by five, I’m gonna spill hot oil all over your heads!’
‘Promises, promises ...’
‘One, two, three ...’
‘He means business!’
‘Well, it’s him or us. I think we should charge the gates! Ready?’’
‘Come on then!’
‘Charge!!!’
‘Through the gates! Rescue our prince, Wally!’
‘Open the battlements!’

‘What’s that there? ...’
‘It’s a rat ... He’s a guard.’
‘Excuse me Sir, we’re working in the castle, and we’re doing some plumbing work and we thought that it would be a nice idea to have a look at the pipes in dungeon 305.’
‘Look at the pipes?’
‘Yes.’
‘We think you can show us that dungeon. As a matter of passing I believe the Prince Wally is inhabiting that dungeon, and he will probably have to come out.’
‘Could you show us the way?’
‘So , I don’t know ... Why not?’
‘Great, then it’s settled.’
‘Do you always talk holding your throat?’
‘I think it’s time to dispense with this guard.’
‘What do you mean?’
‘Whack him in his tummy ...’
Our gallant knights now go down the corridor and there’s no sign of him until they open the door, and there ...
‘Here we are!’ ... fast asleep, his hands on his trousers ...
‘Hold it!’
‘OK, my friend. We have reason to believe ... we don’t know who you are ... we find you in this dungeon, we believe that you might be the trouser bandit.’
‘I don’t know who you’re talking about.’
‘Just a minute, the boys were just about to gasp, and I like to get a good gasp when I make a statement.’
Gasp away.
‘I came ... OK, OK ...’
‘Now I came to this castle a hundred and fifty years ago.’
‘Looks like it ...’
‘And I, too, lost my trousers.’
‘You mean you lost your trousers a hundred and fifty years ago?’
‘A hundred and fifty years ago ...’
‘That’s a pretty good statement, hang on.’
‘Whew!!! That’s a pretty good gasp!’
‘Help!’
‘That’s Wally’s voice. I know Wally’s voice anywhere... Prince Wally.’
‘Wally, by George ... can you hear us?’
‘I’m here! Help!’
‘Where?’
‘Over here.’
‘It’s a kilt with a man in it.’
‘That must be Wally.’
‘Glad to make your acquaintance.’
‘But Wally, you’re free!’
‘I’m twenty three.’
‘This Wally’s older.’
‘Hold it! ... You’re making a mockery of the king?’
‘You’re making a mockery Sir, we bow to you.’
‘Here Wal, are these your teeth?’
‘You want to show a little respect for the kilt that’s going to fly high on the flagpoles of Scotland.’
‘I knelt before the kilt ... and there he was ...’
‘Gentlemen, Gentlemen ...’
‘None the less I’m glad to make your acquaintance.’
‘We hadn’t realised that you were already free and this in fact was your castle.’
‘What’s your tartan?’
‘It’s ... ah, McCabe.’
‘All I can see this tart ... here, he’s a tart, tart ...’
‘Gentlemen, please!’
‘I don’t know. None the less, I’m glad to make your acquaintance.’
‘I think this calls for celebration! Our journey here ... we came five hundred miles to rescue you, your highness.’
‘You mean you want a bit of a dance?’
‘We’d like, .... careful ..... we would like .... a knighthood.’
‘You must be out of your boxes!’
‘Your Royal Highness is out of his.’
‘The other way .. you come here ... you try to get me to give you a knighthood ....’
‘All it takes is a sword.’
‘Is it?’
‘The worst Scottish accent I’ve ever heard.’
‘A knighthood, Sir, and we walk away from this story with our heads held up.’
‘Do it Your Highness!’
‘Slick your porridge up your nose.’
‘That’s not going to get us a knighthood.’
‘What you don’t know is that I’m not really a prisoner here.’
‘Now, let’s dance!’

I don't know if its rare, but it's certainly my favourite goody, Its the Bee Gees Authorized biography from 1978. Loads of brilliant photos and information. Also another fave is an Andy poster that came in a bubble gum packet from about 78, lovely photo of Andy with a red shirt and white shirt an trousers.
