Anyone else heard this song that was cut from the album HOW OLD ARE YOU? Another great song that i thought should have made the album... Maybe Robin can release and album called " SHOULD HAVE BEENS" full of unreleased material!!!

Yes, i have this song and it sounds great. I also have the song "Human being" this great song is also from "The how old are you" sessions. A cd of unreleased Robin songs would be great.
Also a idea for Rhino to release the official cd's and all the songs from "Sing slowly sisters " and other unreleased material.

I agree. Kathy's Gone could even have been a well received single release back then.

Similar in style to the HOAY songs but Human Being was coprighted back in March 1982 while the tracks for HOAY was done on the spot in the studio later in the year.

Human Being and Kathy's Gone are very much the same and the latter could very well be a re-write of the song. While Human Being credits all three Gibb brothers I think Barry may have been solely involved with the lyrics and a re-write by Robin (and Maurice?) and subsequent re-recording would exclude Barry's credit.

Wouldn't this be wonderful!?! All of the songs from Robin & Maurice (a remarkable twin tribute (swoon swoon) ) from the 1980s, with the recording details ! And, those with Barry too! Please, Robin, realizing, of course, you are a very, very busy man !

It would be a good compilation, Robin doesn't have many unreleased tracks from the 80's as he doesn't seem to make demos when recording, but Barry has some belting, and completely finished, unreleased numbers that didn't make it onto Hawks. He used one of them to rehearse during the High Civilization tour.

From the solo albums, Robin and Maurice left out 'Love is Just a Calling Card', 'Track of the Cat', 'Modern Girls' and 'She's Hot', but you never know how well made these recordings are; but judging by Robin's recording process, they may well be complete.

But, any compilation like this is massively wishful thinking, I'd rather Robin release his solo album with those enticingly beautiful song titles!
