We had some really hot burning days, today began with a big thunderstorm (couldn't see across the rain curtain), but it cleared up by noontime. This doe lives at Margaret island mini zoo, I shot this after the flood withdrew and in fact it was not allowed to go that part of the island. It was a hot day, not advisable to go out before mid afternoon. Had no spring, just winter, autumn, and summer!

Certainly taking advantage of a day of being able to see all the lovely entries ! How adorable, wildflower  ! The seasons are indeed strange. It was very hot here for a week and now back to cold and rainy. At least, there is no more snow  , for awhile.

Much nicer in colour, anyway... Here we were OK, but in the south 11 people were injured (6 seriously) and many roofs damaged again  Now it's rather nice, but just for the reason that we were to hike tomorrow, and nasty weather coming again and said to stay for a while.

What a beautiful summerday! And you captured it perfectly, Wildflower! Did you see the tortoises, Lori?  I must admit it was a little shock when the fountain came to life so suddenly. Now everybody guess of what this lady reminds me!   She sure looks familiar . So beautiful among the water lillies , wildflower.
