did i hear correctly that robin is recording a new album to be released this spring and does anyone know if alan freeman days is getting a release in someway

Please let me now any news from that issue. I am very interesting in it :shock:

It´s incredible how Robin is like the wine. While older is better. He is full of creativity. isn´t it?

In an interview today, Robin said that he will be choosing the first single from the new album over the next two weeks. Apparently the first single will be either 'Avalanche' or 'Days of Wine and Roses'. I wonder if this will be a genuinely new album with new Robin Gibb music or new recordings of old songs? I really hope these are brand new Robin composed songs.

I hope this means that Robin will FINALLY come to the USA to thrill his American fans who have been waiting for SO LONG to see him! Robin, not all of us can afford to travel to the places where you are now playing live. Whatever is keeping you from coming to the USA as a solo act, be assured that we WANT you here, and will come to your concerts and SUPPORT you like crazy as a solo artist!!! :mrgreen: MY dream would be a concert of your SOLO works, without Bee Gees stuff. I know this is like heresy to say this, but you certainly have the catalog and the chops to do a show with your solo material--with songs written for, by and about you and made for your gorgeous voice. And please include SOS!!

Please come to the USA before too much time passes by and some of us, who have been fans for 40+ years, are no longer able to see you in person!! :!:

I just posted that Robin Gibb will be releasing a single called, "Alan Freeman Days" in May, 2008 on WIKIPEDIA. I hope it stays there.

I just want a new album from Robin so much. It has been 23 years since a 'proper' new Robin Gibb album. Yes, really. Count them. It is hard to believe. That is far too long between albums. (I don't count the following albums as proper solo albums: 'Magnet' because all but one song is a cover of other people's songs/old Gibb compositions, 'Live' because it is just a live album of old songs, 'My favourite Carols' because it only had one new Robin Gibb song - what we need is NEW MUSIC from Robin, brand new songs created and recorded by Robin!!!)

I hope this year's new album will be a worthy follow-up to his last full new album, 'Walls Have Eyes' (which was a great album, by the way).

I am sure we all want new music from Robin. Are others in agreement that 23 years between new albums is too long a wait?
